Autism & ABA

Welcome to Positive Outcomes

Louisiana’s source for Applied Behavior Analysis therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a form of therapy that is used primarily for Autism Spectrum Disorder but is successful with a wide range of skill acquisition and behavior issues related to a diagnosis of ADHD, developmental delays, oppositional, and/or defiant behavior. The goal of ABA therapy is to increase speech, daily living skills, eye contact, conversation, and independence while decreasing challenging behaviors and stereotypical and self-stimulating behaviors. ABA can be used in conjunction with speech, OT, and/or PT therapies and is complimentary. Positive Outcomes works primarily with children ages 2-12 but children are covered for ABA therapy under private insurance and Medicaid until age 18. Other clients can be seen on a case by case basis.
